Joseph Richard Thell, the namesake of this website and the inspiration to do all we can to help find treatments and hopefully one day, a cure for Ataxia as well as to benefit other neurological disorders. Joe was a loving individual who brightened the days of all who knew him and lived to help others. Now that he is gone, it is our turn to do what we can to carry on Joe's good will and share what we know and do it with the same vigor and enthusiasm he showed us throughout his fight with Ataxia.
